Ssssnake...

My son and I were both born in the Year of the Snake.

The tree represents strength and the sakura blossoms speak of our Japanese heritage and our beautiful hometown, Vancouver, BC - which is awash in cherry blossoms in the Spring.

My most recent tattoo, a black capped chickadee. 

This tattoo is in memory of my late maternal grandmother who loved birds and had a quirky habit of bursting into song at any moment. She taught me about chickadees and had a wonderful antique collection of birds eggs.
